Major improvements since Ver 2.1

  • This patch will fix the DV packets source port number at 40002 to avoid packet loss issues associated with recently introduced automatic source port randomization in some types of Linux distributions.
    The fixed port number can be manually over-ridden by specifying another port number in dsgwd.conf such as "GW_VCSRCPORT=40002".


How to update the installed Ver2.0 Gateway Software:

  • Download the DstarPatch2.2.tar.gz file to a temporary directory such as /tmp.
  • Extract all the files contained in the file ("tar zxvf DstarPatch2.2.tar.gz") Move to the "patch2.2"directory ("cd patch2.2") Run the included shell script to update the files ("sh patch2.2.sh")
